LEFT-WING CONSPIRACY THEORIST (WITH DYSPRAXIA) 2017 show
Left Wing Conspiracy Theorist (with Dyspraxia): What do learning difficulties, secret societies, banking systems, conspiracy theories, and David Icke have in common? They’re all part of the debut solo show from gag-filled comedian and social commentator Don Biswas. Through a lens of Dyspraxia, mild Asperger’s, (both difficulties that effect social and coordination skills) and disaffection with the status quo, Don takes a firm – if uncoordinated – stab at life in the 21st century to uncover the truth of austerity, immigration, Trump, Brexit traditional left-wing politics, the demonization of the poor, and the alternative press.
Conspiracies are everywhere. Eventually, you’re bound to bump into one – especially if you can’t control your limbs! Learning difficulties don’t control Don Biswas; they just command his politics.
As heard on James O’Brien’s LBC podcast No Pressure To Be Funny, Don specialises in “well-paced, well-judged political comedy” (5 Stars The Wee Review). Don provided tour support on comedian John Williams’s solo hit, My Son's not Rain Man and is part of Abnormally Funny People, comedy nights featuring comedians with disabilities and learning difficulties. He’s appeared on BBC Asian Network Radio, The Nihal Show, and the BBC Ouch podcast.
'A phenomenal gag teller with an engaging stage persona, Don Biswas shows all the signs of a truly great comic'. Hecklers comedy club
'Slick one-liners…but his best joke…was all the better for confounding the expectations he had created'. Londonisfunny.com
